Your idea to use the holes in the bed sides is good to a point. The pictures show that you do not have a direct drop for drainage, so water will sit in the plastic hoses. If the instructions say use the plugs, to it, gravity is your friend when draining water.

When you live in a climate that is all 4 seasons, Weather Tech is the only choice. They fit, lock in like the original Ford cloth floor mats and can be washed and scrubbed without issue.

If you had negotiated with your dealer, you probably could have gotten Ford's Ranger mud flaps at a discount, and they come with replacement screw caps in case you have to drill out the factory ones. And you don't need a template to install. And they say FORD on the flap.

Thanks --- I have viewed Ford's parts list for the grille and it looks like there is a top piece, a middle piece and a bottom piece. Not as easy as the Raptor grille we installed in our 2019. Did have a problem with one of the lower clips there which caused the first aid kit to be opened.

Sounds like you are not getting full voltage from battery, Clean the top of the battery ( pour very hot water over top of battery and wipe with rag) and check for good connection at cables.
