I would get it into a dealer. Mine took two visits but they replaced the knob and the fix has stuck so far. I think they might have also done some software update but not positive. Truck has been rock solid since the fix.

Just back from a 2k mi trip with no mode issues. The repair seems to be holding up. Fingers still crossed. Have not put my yeti back in the drink holder though. That's next.

Back from the shop and it appears the drive mode dial was bad. It was replaced and so far so good. I got the vehicle used so I'm not sure what abuse the dial might have faced before I got it. lol. Fingers crossed because this thing is a blast to drive.
