Congrats! Have you tried sports mode? I left mine in normal mode until the break in period (1000 miles) then switched to sport mode. Really wakes the truck up! The Procal tune takes it up another notch.
If you have multiple Ford dealerships near you, I'd call the service departments and find one that has installed several and is familiar with them. I bought my Ranger Raptor from a volume dealer. I went to the service department and discussed the tune. They had done a bunch and knew it inside...
Got the Procal tune installed today. WOW!! Transmission is night and day, MUCH more smooth and consistent in sport mode. And after just a little spirited driving it definitely pulls harder once it's in the power band.
I'd be more tempted if there was a tank in the middle ground between stock and these...Maybe 27 or 28 gallons. Wouldn.t have to hang as low or fill every nook and cranny, so should be less expensive but still extend the range quite a bit.
Thanks, man! Picked it up and got a chance to talk to the tech, who has installed a bunch of them. Think I'll open an account, log my procal in and let him do the rest.
So my tune is at the dealer. As I recall the tune needs to be linked to my account, but don't remember the specifics. What do I need to tell the dealer to retain and have access to my OEM tune, etc?
Went and talked to the service department at my Ford dealer today. I left there much more confident the tune won't create any warranty issues down the road. Used my Ford points along with the 25% discount, paying $484 for the tune! :sunglasses:
Thanks, man! Yeah, I saw one of the reviews said it was 2 or 3 degrees off. I looked at the CRS models but chose this CRX3 for the new seamless battery design.
Ordered a refrigerator/freezer with battery for road trips/beach. Hope its as good as it it sounds!

Different model, but pretty in-depth review...
My only hesitation is the warranty. I purchased an extended warranty from Ford when I bought the truck as I plan on keeping it long-term. Don't plan on any mods such as larger tires, etc. I wish there was a definitive answer from Ford.
I assume you lowered them to 30psi. That's gotta ride like driving on a pillow compared to 43! Don't know what you should run, but the way I look at it the auto maker's rating assumes a partially loaded truck/bed. If you drive mostly without a laod couple psi lower, especially in the rear...
