I honestly think you all are arguing/discussing something that shouldn’t be an issue. Just carry a bottle of octane boost in your truck for the rare time you can’t find high octane gas. Seems to me that would be FAR easier that flashing back to stock.

Do they always install it this way? My dealer is telling me it’s an all day service, and want me to drop the truck off for the day.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just have a couple bottles of octane boost in case you can’t find 91 octane or better fuel? I think that would be easier than messing with reverting to the stock tune.

If you only drive 5-6K miles per year, any cost savings in better mpg will not offset replacing your tires before you need new tires. If you like the look and performance of the KO3s, save your money and keep them.

I had the keypad on an old F150. I never used it. I don't understand the point of having it, because I had to have the key with me to drive the truck anyway. It was just one more way to steal the truck as far as I was concerned. YMMV.
