I have used sport mode on the highway in Bumper to Bumper with no difference, On My 25 it is a pushbutton with the different modes, The Rotate button is for 2H/4H/4L. Sport mode is best for bumper to bumper on I95...

I bought my wife a 25 Bronco OB with 2.7, Non SAS . I bought a 25 Ranger Lariat 2.7, the Ranger is much quieter than the Bronco. The Bronco has a noticeable grumble for a V6, I though it was on the same basic platform? I also has a 18 f150 with the 2.7 and it was about as quiet as the Ranger...
