Hey! That looks familiar. lol. I made a similar post about my experience over at Hot Springs and I also had Donnie as my guide. That’s awesome somebody else was able to get over there! Now that I’ve got mine on 35s with a lift and some extra skid plates, I’m itching to go back so bad! I’m glad...
Surprisingly it actually did much better than I thought it would. It got bogged down in a pile of pea gravel but after I pulled it out, it went back through and managed to crawl its way through.
Took it to Bogue Chitto ATV Park near Franklinton, LA. It’s a pretty large area with lots of different trails, mud and sand. Be careful though, some of the trails were certainly more for ATV use as I ended up having to back track the truck out of one of them because it got so narrow on it.
In Baja Mode, 4H, and traction control disabled, I swear it flew off that hill like it was trying to catch a bird. Honestly completely caught me off-guard. I expected it to stick to the ground but it certainly did not. Lol.
I might need to try that out. I have a 16,500lb kinetic rope and some soft shackles that did pretty well so far. I was going to use it on that wrangler but some guy was convinced his “snatch strap” was better. It did the job I suppose.
Yup. I was aired down to 20psi and the bead just got rolled off the wheel. I inspected the tie rod and upper and lower control arms and nothing appeared abnormal. I drove it for the day on the spare and just got the tire put back on the stock wheel today and don’t seem to have any issues from...
Decided to go do some off-roading in mud and sand yesterday to test out the RR and its new shoes. Did the same stuff last week but decided to air down to 20 psi this go-around. Overall, I have to say this thing is impressive. I pulled out a completely bogged down wrangler and gladiator...
I’m running the 2/1 spacer kit from them and with 35x11.5 tires on stock wheels, there is no rubbing or need to remove the crash bars. The distance from the upper control arm though would make me question whether a 12.5in wide tire would clear it without additional offset. I definitely think...

here’s the link to the one I got. Super nice and clips onto the grill so it hasn’t moved even a little bit. I got the Code Orange color
lol exactly! I had other decals on the truck before but it started to feel like a bit much so I took them off and decided to just stick with the red(code orange) accents and the 455hp decals.
I’ll keep you posted on how the tires do. So far (less than 50 miles), they are a tad noisier than the Ko3s but nothing too dramatic. We are suppose to be getting rain through the weekend down here in Louisiana so I’ll test the wet traction over the next few days.
MPG wise, the truck is having...
Man, I thought I recognized that truck in the pictures you posted. I watch your videos pretty frequently! Your videos were probably one of the main reasons I ended up jumping into the RR. I appreciate your input. I like the look of the 315s you have but think the narrower 35x11.5 would probably...
Yeah I’d love to see a picture of those. I’m thinking the 35x11.5 would be good but I’m looking for verification on that. I’m not even opposed to doing 35x11.5 with some 20mm wheel spacers if I can find some that are sturdy.
What about a lower width 35x11.5? Do you think the extra inch of clearance would mitigate those issues you saw with the 315/70r17? If I understood your article correctly, going from a 285/70r17 to a 35x11.5r17 would result in an approximate 58.2mm increase in diameter, which means I then need to...
Looking to put 35s on my 25 RR. I like the stock wheels but I’m unsure if the +55 will force rubbing. I’m also trying to save a buck and not purchase wheels (if possible) and if needed, I am instead looking at potentially just using wheel spacers to get to about a +40 to +35 offset for the...
