I traded in a 2017 Mustang GT for the Ranger XLT FX4 because I needed something more practical. I was a little surprised that on long distance drives I got better gas mileage with the Mustang at about 25 mpg and only 22 mpg with the Ranger.
Wish I could have kept the Mustang and the Ranger but...
Over Christmas, I drove from Denver, CO to Tupelo, MS. Over all averaged about 22 mpg. Including minimal driving around for 5 days. It's about 1200 miles each way.
