I haven’t experienced any issues in relation to the sound, the car drives perfectly - although the sound is still there.
I’m still at 4600 miles, I’m going to do my first service soon so will check again with the dealer but they’ve repeatedly told me that it is a normal sound in these platforms...
No hard shifts - drives are smooth and enjoyable as far as I can push it during the break in period. I’ll keep observing the sound and see if it gets quieter - I can’t really hear it after around 2.5-3k RPM. Other than that, really loving the car and can’t wait to really use it.

I just got my RR last Thursday, and it’s been making these noises since I picked it up from the dealership. Took it back after hearing this whine noise in the post above, dealer is saying it’s completely normal and is coming from either the turbo actuators or the pump - most likely the latter...
