Back when I apprenticed as a diesel mechanic Mid 80s standard motor oil was 30 weight. Then these new-fangled synthetics came out, like 10w30 and 5w40. It is all synthetic, 10w30 doesnt come out of the ground as a multi protection lubricant, it is synthesized from crude oil. They can call blends...
So I have Hankook 17s I go check the tires.... they say 50 PSI on their sidewall in 2 locations.
So My tires say 50
My app says recommended tire pressure based on this vin is 37
My B-Piller sticker says 38
My tires were all bang on 44/45
oh and the manual says to refer to app or B-Piller...
My door sticker says 38 pounds, app says 37 ( close enough)
I was using ford pass as a comparison since the OP displayed his Ford Pass display. Oh and since the app uses my Vin to reference all the stats I trust it since it has all the model specific weights and payloads etc and all those stats...
My new Ranger recommends a cold pressure of 37 lbs.... I got mine at 45.
But DONT take them down to 30.....I think that is too low How much does the individual tire brands vary in recommended pressure?
The OP's Ford Pass for his 2019 ranger recommends 30 psi.
