Ford ranked very highly in JD Power's 2026 Initial Quality survey. The contrast with the 200+ recalls issued since the start of 2025 is pretty crazy. I really hope they figure out their quality control sooner rather than later.
The recall instructions do actually have the headliner removed. It's billed as two hours of labor, that tech was pretty quick. For what it's worth, I think it's worth having the recall work done. You don't want the airbag tearing when you need it.
