I just want to recognize the patience and thoughtfulness of @OxygenMask. Folks like them make this forum a wonderful place to hangout! Perhaps Ranger owners are the best of the best! š
Tool-less removal of tailgate like EVERY other Ford pickup - even the Maverick has it!!! My 2024 tailgate looks very difficult at best to remove due to what appears to be a torsion bar that presumably unweights the gate for lifting.
Also, to remain in Eco mode 100% if time. I drove from WV to...
Check out Flated - inflatable truck caps/toppers. Similar concept (light & easy to remove and store), but a different solution and a lot less $$:

I happened to be near a dealer today and was able to see the TC9 in person. I was not impressed. Itās huge, relative to size of a 1/4 ton truck, yet very unusable interior features⦠other than the full queen size bed. Limited storage, very small fresh water tank (10 gallons?), no fitting for...
Good suggestion!! I may add the j-braces fix kit to increase the bed rail capacity so I can add a bed rack for kayaks. I bought the kit, but have not installed yet - as I am still debating the rack.
Yes competing product. Fluid Film is lanolin based - a byproduct of sheep wool (hence the farm smell). NHOU is mineral oil based. They have an option to add mint extract to deter mice. The smell wears away fairly quicklyā¦. I assume as does the efficacy.
New Englanders: Has anyone had their Ranger sprayed? I had the treatment done on my previous truck (2019 F-350) and was very happy with result. Not a spot of rust on the frame after 5 years (truck was idol often; only 20k miles and coating was reapplied once; never garaged tho). I am more...
Did you buy the drop in liner yet? I have not purchased yet, but I plan to buy this one

You ask a good question though: I hope it already has holes for the tie downs and power receptacles.
Happy to help. I am an industrial designer and work in product development. My company also works very closely with customers to uncover unmet needs to fuel innovation. Great work youāre doing! Iāve owned a pickup since 1997 and have designed and built my own bed accessories. DM me if you want...
I had the same question after arriving home with my new to me 2024 XLT. Googled and discovered that it was ānormalā. I am planning to buy a drop in bed liner. I am hoping it is designed to cover that untrimmed sheet metal. Does anyone have a Duraliner installed they can share pics of?
I would consider a product like this if there were additional panels that install to protect the vertical walls of the bed. I need something that will protect the sheet metal when I throw firewood into the bed. I am planning to purchase a Duraliner for my ā24 XLT but have not yet. Sprayin liners...
I would be surprised if there was a way to get them to the US without going to Brazil, buying one and shipping it by boat to US. Could be a business idea to become their US distributor. I am not sure if SA Rangers have a higher GVWR⦠like the HiLux. So minimally a NA G6 may require suspension...
I traded in an F-350 for G6 Ranger after selling my 3000lb Lance truck camper. I assumed that lifestyle was behind me until I discovered a couple fiberglass truck camper manufactures in Brazil. Their product is sized for Ranger!
Checkout the Kuat Ibex system. Looks sick, but I have not gotten one myself. I am still in the market. Yakima has a good looking system too. Do some research if your truck was built before July 2024. If so there is a weight limit on the top of gunnels that requires a fix kit.
From my research, rack install is only an issue on 01/2024 - 07/2024 Rangers due to a lack of structural integrity inside bed rails⦠that can be remedied by installing J-braces. HOWEVER, I cannot find any information from Ford that states what the top-of-bed-rails max capacity increases TO once...
