Took mine to the Oregon dunes back in early August. The tires did ok in the soft sand, but you have to really air them down. I was running 15psi...would probably have done even better at 10. Terrain management is awesome, hooked up really well.

Clay bar followed by Meguiar's D301 finishing polish/wax is a great combination. Will make the finish look almost too good to be on a truck.

I installed the running boards after the guard, but I think there's enough room to do it the other way round.

Great mod. Excellent protection for sills and if you run a step it keeps shoes from rubbing on the paint. Once I did the first side, the second went a lot faster.

Whatever works...for me Cars.com was far less reliable than Ford. Glad I "bothered."

Maybe I just got lucky. One thing I did notice is Ford's inventory tracking can be flaky...I'd see vehicles drop off and reappear later, making it necessary to do multiple searches to really know what's out there at any given time.

For those suffering wait times, if you check Ford inventory you may be able to find the truck you're looking for enroute to a dealer (without a buyer). That's what I did two weeks ago...contacted the dealer, they called when it arrived a week ago. I added a step, Line-X bed liner and a few other...
