Good to hear, I need more nerdy mechanic friends haha, my concern was this was not towing, cruise control, and flat (technically downhill going from the flatlands to the beach) and at night with temperatures around 70. I’m getting an OBD2 reader before we head back because I’m used to older...
So using Forscan to look at this data would be best then? It’s not quite in the red I just feel like even the “dummy gauge” should not be that high. Do we know the range of temps these motors operate at?
Ours was a 3 1/2 hour trip but broken up into two 20 minute stops. Not towing and I only had a tonnea cover and luggage in the bed. it was also down hill technically (going to the beach) and at night when it was cooler. I’m just concerned about long term oil life and motor damage from it running...
Temps are normal in town and when driving around 55mph. On interstate for 3 hour road trip with speeds 70-80 and the temp gauge pretty much held this constant until we went back down to 55 and it slowly went down.
I’ve seen post saying it’s normal and that ford says high temps are normal, but...
Installed front and rears. I screwed up the fronts so there an extra set of screw holes in the mud flaps but the holes are inside the fender. I initially measured but didn’t take into account the curve. Then I taped a large envelope to the fender and made a perfect template. Rears are perfect...
Definitely wanted something like that. From what I was told the Ranger raptor flaps don’t fit a non Ranger, even Rokblokz has Ranger raptor models but not non Ranger ones. There’s many options out there but we pretty much have to overland to get to our cabin property and I wanted to keep some of...
My goal this weekend is to take a piece of cardboard to get the mounting holes and then line it up on the mud flap, drill a pilot hole and then adjust before drilling the others. I should be able to make a template for others that have non raptor models.
From what I can see online it looks like...
Good Afternoon,
Recently bought the Rokblokz original universal mudflats for our 2025 XLT. Does anyone have a template that I can drill the holes for the front and rear? Also what hardware (bolt size) do these trucks take so I can mount them?
Thanks!
