Monday I got the 10k service and 2 recalls done.
Yesterday I discovered my keypad doesn't work....
Goes back Friday.
Being retired it's only an inconvenience, but for working guys it's a real PITA....
Yes, you press the R button once and the driver display shows you what the settings (if any) are. Press it again to adopt those settings.
I wish it would just remember my previous settings. No one else drives my truck so this would be most convenient....
I've always felt that air circulation in places like that are less likely to cause rust.
Those types of things usually let moisture in, cause condensation, and are worse than leaving it alone.
Heehee..
In a couple weeks we're doing our annual fall 2 week camping trip. This year we're having quite a few friends and family join us so we're taking both trucks, kayaks etc... Does it count if the equipment is at the campsite with the RR there too?
Here's pics taken from near our...
I have 360 ah of 6v lead acid batteries, 320 w of solar, a 2000 w inverter. They fit nicely in our camping trailer....
And a 4000 w dual fuel generator.
Mine worked fine the day I brought my truck home. Haven't used it since, just like with my last 3 trucks. Even back when sliders were manual, I never had occasion to want the back window to open. Not passing judgement, that's just me.
The first truck I bought with a power back window, we...
Man that brought back memories! I had a Cosworth Vega in high school. They made something like 250hp! ( When a standard VEGA made like 70hp...). It was 3 years old and
had 60k on it when I bought it and was already falling apart.... But I sold a 65 VW bug to get it so it was one hell of an...
We've had 3 vehicles that have an ECO mode. In all 3 ECO gave the worst mpg by quite a bit.
Always lugging, always in too high a gear, always having to put your foot in it to keep from getting run over...
I think ECO mode is a cheat of the EPA formula, just like the old shift lights that would...
I'm very happy with my ebay $269 Mostplus. It is convenient to use, take off an on, and it does not leak, not a drop. (After I waterproofed the bed rails and all the other holes and made my own tailgate seal system...) It seals to the bed and tailgate nicely. I can still get a dozen drops in...
This cracked me up.

The big box stores have really upped their game vying for our dollars... I've seen a few of this year's animatronic...
The Everest, Bronco, Ranger, and VW Amarok share variations of the T6.2 platform.
The way I interpret it is they are going to use the Bronco variant T6, to have rear coils. But it will most likely look like the Everest, why wouldn't it? A few parts swapped, a new grille, and you have an all...
Not normally a fan of the ski boat arch....
But I actually kinda like that! It looks sleek and thoughtful, not just thrown on as a accessory.
I believe this is actually a Ford UK option. They have load bars for the rails too.
This is close but not quite -...
