Whether an oil lists GF-6 or GF-7 means they are certed to that spec. That does not mean that the oil formulation has necessarily changed. btw, for those that depend solely on oil analysis numbers … do those numbers consider the build up of contaminants and wear inside the engine?

I went with Ronin 6 years ago on a different vehicle. I felt the ball valve was more secure and proven back then. Magnet is great. After I drain the oil, I pull the Ronin plug out to inspect the magnet and get that last couple ounces out of the pan. So, that’s what I purchased for my RR.

Change it. I changed my RR at 975 miles.

I pulled the wheel when the local dealership’s Mobile Service Tech came install steel rivets Monday. He did a good job. I’m GTG.

IIRC about 1/2 turn. I positioned my hand so I could hold it while approximately 5 quarts drained out, then I tightened it back up. Poured that used oil out of the pan, then drained the remaining 2 quarts.

I’ve also read, and believe, that Rock Auto is more trustworthy than eBay too.

All I can see body colored steel in the empty holes. Im guessing they are structural support points to secure wheel well liner in place. I did not bother to remove the wheel well liner in its entirety.
