If you don't have the B&O system the best and easiest upgrade is replace the crappy front and rear door speakers. I replaced my fronts with 3-way 6x9 kickers and the rear with 6" 2-way kickers. Doesn't sound like AM radio now.
Turbos hesitate. Just the nature of the beast. Got it in my previous two Ford Turbos but my '25 2.3 Ranger has less hesitation than either of those did ('21 Bronco Sport, '23 Ford Maverick 2.0).
I used these magnetic USB C rechargeable lights (Amazon) stuck to each side. Movement triggered when I open the tailgate in the dark. Can pop one off to look in a box if needed. They're up under the rail so they won't get wet with my cover down and pop off if I'm hauling in bad weather with the...
Got this 24 oz Iron Flask for my Maverick. Also fits my '25 Ranger. Stays in place. Just don't like the way Ford made them stick out a little on the Ranger. It is easy to grab though. https://amzn.to/3Rrl5XC
My new 2025 2.3 does it about once a week. It's like the tranny is still in a gear when in park and shut off and when the engine starts the truck jerks and then the tranny finds neutral.
You really need to buy it before the original warranty expires. Yes, if you buy a six year plan it only covers an additional three years beyond the first three years. The plan coverage is the total years from new purchase.
My method has always been don't buy it until the original warranty is about to expire. Decide at that point if I'm going to trade in or not. If not, buy the warranty on-line then. If you're getting a car loan it makes no sense to get it from the dealer at a higher cost at purchase and pay...
I don't have any delay and I prefer having just the driver's door unlock on the first click. Doesn't take much effort to press the button twice if I want them all unlocked or the tailgate unlocked.
I had a Bronco Sport with 58 hail dents in the roof, hood, tailgate and top of the quarter panels. It looked brand new after paintless dent repair. Cost the insurance company around 5K.
I have the Worksport AL4. Made here in the USA (not just assembled). Good sturdy secure cover. Allows you to use the whole bed when folded up. Can walk on it. Good luck for no leaks as my cover doesn't leak but the Ranger itself has holes in the front of the bed, the side rails have places for...
Or just buy the Redarc Liberty that that plugs into the existing connector in the Ranger.
I don't think anyone has successfully installed the factory brake controller yet. Had one in my Maverick. All you need is adjustment and a button to push if you get sway. Seems like way to much work for the...
I went to the dealer lot and actually went under the Ranger's dash to confirm it had a plug for a brake controller before I purchased it. Learned my lesson when I bought a Bronco Sport with a tow package that didn't have a brake controller or a plug for an aftermarket controller. My Previous...
On the '25 with the tow package there is a plug for an after market brake controller. I installed the Redarc Liberty brake controller. It was plug and play with the harness for the G6 Ranger. The port is on the left side tucked against the outside wall behind the bundle of wires. Mine had an...
