Got the Tackform mounted, super solid and impressed so far. Opted for the MagSafe cooled charger for the iPhone, and then the metal iPad mount. Not loving the fact the iPad blocks the tops right (really unusable) space of the Headunit. I’ll either grab a longer arm (more leverage so it’ll shake...
I ordered the f150 leds, should be here Friday, allegedly. I’ll post thoughts once I get em setup. Hoping they get close on color to the Amber DRLs I have
on the gladiator I had, I’d change it at 50% every time, that got me around 4500-5500 miles per change which is what I wanted. I’ll be sticking to the same on Ranger as well, so long as the interval is ~ the same for 50% = 4500-5500 miles.
Yes, before you ask, I’ve RESEARCHED. I’m a millennial with crippling analysis paralysis and I know *everything* about all the grille marker lights there is to know, except what actually fits well (not sticking out) and lasts the longest.
so.. if you’ve got RAPTOR specific marker lights chime...
Nothing is as funny as keyboard warriors… I can’t even count the amount of posts over on the Gladiator forum where the OP ends up banned 6 hours into the post
I’ve read the same from many who have run them long term, while I’ve only had a set of original KO’s in a 37, I prefer to stick to Toyo, Nitto or Mickey for the future.
ive heard similar over on the gladiator forums with the ko3’s. They need to break in and they soften up to some degree.
If you want BOV nosies on the cheap, just order the Amazon DV spacer for the eco boosts. I’ve got one and it works well, no loss of performance that I can tell
I’m north of Atlanta, just went out and did a few test hits to try to get the tires to break traction (different thread) and I hit 20-21 psi per the dash in sport mode. Intake temps were ~100-110, and I’m at 1200 feet above sea level
just went out and did a few test hits in sport mode, no slippage at all, and hitting peak boost of 20-21 at times.
load range E toyo open country at3’s at 35 psi cold and I do have an alucab contour on the back. It’s about 78 up in north Georgia right now so grip isn’t too bad it seems.
Where did you find dry roads in Atlanta in the last week???
Anyway, I’m running stock size open country at3, they can certainly get sideways if I want but off the line I haven’t really been able to spin them just yet, if it stays dry up here in North GA tomorrow I’ll run out and do a test hit...
I’m impressed, to say the least. Prior to the Ranger Raptor, I had a gladiator rubicon, and before that, a 2 door rubicon on 37s, I know Georgia trails aren’t crazy, but that’s my baseline.
I took the Ranger on a little loop this morning that the gladiator did a few months back. Even with the...
Love it!! Similar situation to when I got mine. Went to the dealer looking at a 2024 Tundra w/ the off road package. Test drove the tundra, then someone parked the Raptor near us and it was out of range but my wife pushed for me to just ask if they can match the numbers and they did.
Enjoy it...
Installed a few AAL parts, namely the SAM and their A pillar light brackets. Unfortunately only shot I have is next to dad’s Carli f250 but should suffice for record keeping purposes. I also did the amber/orange DRLS. I went with an Amazon version, and figured if they failed, I’ve at least done...
My initial guess after hearing that is boost leak somewhere.. do you have any blue smoke intermittently? Also did you notice any loss in power once this started?
As I understand it, they are one and the same. The performance LEDs are what ranger raptors ship with, then from there you can enable the Matrix function if your year supports it.
From testing, there is no difference in brightness from the Normal Highbeams and the “matrix enabled” beams. Pattern...
We’re just gonna gloss over the bed replacement like that? Bumper looks badass. Wish we had more options in the states. Coming from a Gladiator I’m a little shocked how there’s maybe… 4? Unique companies making bumpers for us
Post amber DRL install, forgot to plug in the driver side horn harness, turns out it makes a world of difference to have both horns working.
Installed AAL sidekick and super pumped, now it’s time to build out a few mounts. Will be replacing the x grip with a MagSafe charger, and then building a...
Decided to fight for my life and install the Amber DRL boards. Went the wheel removal and fender removal method, my hands would’ve never fit to get the heat sinks out otherwise. Overall took 3ish hours, taking it all apart is harder than going together. Tomorrow i’ll install the AAL side kick...
