Thanx for the pics, ya'll!!!
That's ZACKLY what I needed!!!
I've got most of a roll of Dynaliner left over from when I did my 2 door Bronco, which made a large difference in road noisyness. I might need more.
Should be a PL-259 antenny mount showing up here soon...time to warm up a Unibit!!!
OK; there's gotta be somebody out there who's drilled a hole thru the Ranger roof to mount an antenna.
I've done it on; 85 F-250, 89 Mustang, 90 Ranger, 2010 Ranger, and a 2014 FieSTa.
So what's the word on my 2026 XLT?
I'm betting it's two layer.
Looks like the back of the headliner won't be...
HowTF do you change the brightness/etc on the center display besides the idiotgram buttons on the headlight switch?
My Bronco has display settings on the center display; easy to find and adjust. No joy on this Ranger.
I like to keep mine in dark mode; better suits my mental state...
Hey! W8JI!!!
Tell us about your VHF/UHF antenny install!!!
Looks like a PL-259 thru the roof!!!
I've done that on every vehicle I've had, in modern times....it's kinda fun!
73s de W5DGV!
I intend on putting an IC-7100 head unit there, just got the truck Friday, still in the very prelim stages of scrutineering.
Any trouble using the 5100, as in Eyes On The Road, with it in that position?
THOSE ARE the steps I can't remember!!!
I put the alarm on my Bronco, and it basically functions as a Harley detector, even with the sensitivity turned down.
I need to make a laminated cue card of those steps so I can turn the dayum thang off!!!
