Seems strange that a truck that came with them wouldn’t have them enabled. My truck is the same as yours and I just checked. Mine don’t turn on either.

I contacted Peragon a month or so ago. They told me they have no plans to make a cover for the Ranger.

But the simple fix - since we live in a disposable society - is replace the entire thing.

The Sierra Nevada can get 300 to 500 inches of snow a year. If you’re in San Diego, no snow is a safe bet. I need good snow traction from my tires. It rarely rains here so the wet traction is of little concern to me. Although I live in Carson City, it’s a half-hour drive to Lake Tahoe.

Why don’t you give us your honest opinion on them?

I had factory power steps on my 2018 F150 Lariat SE. I liked them so much I put Amp Research power steps on my 2023 Rebel. Both dropped about 1/2 way to the ground making them extremely effective. Then retract up and give the truck a nice clean look. My wife is 5’ also. She liked them.

I was thinking Desert Sand or White for my Desert Sand truck. Now you gave me a third option to consider…

They will apply at slow speed. I was backing into a parking space the other day and the truck stopped and a warning came up with a loud noise. There were bushes behind me and an outlying branch got real close to one of the sensors.

I definitely agree. The solid beep shouldn’t occur until 4-6” away. There’s plenty of times I want to be closer than 15”. Too bad this can’t be adjusted in Forescan.

How are these holding up for anyone that has installed them? I has great luck with a set of their LED protectors I retrofitted into my F350 years ago. They were fantastic - but baking the stock lights in the oven to get them apart was not fun…

That's what Corwin in Reno was at too. Salesman said I can maybe get them to move $2k. Their F150 Raptors are $20k over MSRP. Crazy. And no test drives on any Raptors. They had a used RR about two months ago I was able to drive. It was on the lot maybe three days. They were asking basically MSRP...
