No they don't drop the headliner. I think they just check to see if the lights work and check for a code. Definitely updated the BCM as all my tire pressures were blank. Had mine done with mobile service. He was done in 20 minutes.

What model of quick jack do you have? I was about to buy one specifically for the Ranger and I'd be totally bummed if it doesn't work.
