Not trying to damage it, but offroading it happens; got my first desert stripes with less than 1k miles on it and a few more since. It's a truck, it's meant to do truck stuff for me. And in SoCal we rarely see this water fall from the sky of which you guys speak, so I just wash it once a month...
Ah yeah I think there was a big rush right when he released them and he's changing the packaging slightly as well I think, but it should be soon that they're available again.
Yes I also have his magnetic flags on the side of the truck and they've never fallen off once. I take them off before...
It was mostly because I knew the offroad performance gains/strength that would come with them (my goal for the truck) and I'm friends with the guy that designed them and they're really well made. But those will be changing soon(ish) as well for a UCA of my own design, so stay tuned for that as...
Thanks! I'll let you know, I may take you up on that. I'm in the LA area.
And for sure, I'll post up about it and let you know. It's taken longer than expected, but I want it to be perfect.
Thanks! I'm excited to unveil things as they get made, working hard on getting everything perfect.
Yes, unfortunately to go up in tire size essentially at all, you have to cut the front crash bars, but no trimming.
Awesome thanks. Yeah I've been looking into it maybe as an addition so people who run stock fenders like me can have it fit flush then have an attachment that extends to match a flared width. I've got a friend with the ADV glass so I'm going to measure hers for the additional piece.
Still a few...
Cleaned up the RTT mounts so it looks a lot cleaner, is more secure with the higher quality brackets, and no more getting stabbed in the back by hanging bolts when I climb in the bed.
Before and after.
Doing a bunch more work this week, but the bumper design took the lead these past few days. It's getting there. The list of things I'm working on keeps continuing, but this is what the render on this looks like now. A couple more tweaks to make, then going to laser next week or two hopefully...
Yeah I wanted them to fully clearance with no rubbing on 285 and these do that. Full lock both ways at full cycle and no rubbing so that's what I needed for offroading.
And yeah I loved the 60 and most parts are super easy to find because you can use generics from a million other cars, but for...
I haven't taken it off since install. I imagine if you only did it every so often it would be annoying but not the end of the world (it's very well attached so it can handle offroading) but I would not want to do it all the time
Thanks! Galpin's great!
And apparently Leitner is working on a new version of their new Forged bed rack that will accommodate a tonneau cover as well but nothing public yet. That would be great.
It's a flat food grade/food safe cutting board with the cupholders integrated on the side. No more tipped over bee....beverages on the tailgate. They invented it to actually make cleaning game or fileting fish easier while they were out doing that and it works for that and many other things as well.
And then we met the team from Mountain Hatch who used our tailgate to create their new product for the Ranger.
And finally some odds and ends and that leaves us where it sits this past week where the first post on this thread started.
Lots more being worked on, lots more still coming, but...
Next, we ended up out at the JTree Cleanup in November of last year, my girlfriend took her on a girls' trip with Jillian from the Tacoma overlanding world, and one we did last trip to off-road near Vegas before the new suspension, wheels and tires went on and then immediately went out to the...
