Ceramic hels minor scratches. It doesn't really protect for scratches. It does help but just light scratch resistance. I have 3 coats on my corvette it makes a diff, especially for cleaning. Just wash and dry. Never wax again. Had it now for 3 years. I did both the Ranger and the MKZ with one...
