The 205 is probably dimensional weight. Shipping companies get to charge the shipper a hell of a lot more based on what a package that size SHOULD weigh. I got hit with this charge pretty hard on some headlights I sold. Those look nice though! Can't wait to see these installed.

What did you do to prep the emblems? Never had luck painting the chrome on plastics

Hmmm. 3m makes an adhesion promoter, but you may have to go to an auto body supply shop to get it. They could probably also recommend a different 3m tape.

Did you try cleaning the trim with some isopropyl alcohol? It's possible you released some oils in the plastic when you were sanding. I've never not known that stuff to not stick to something.

I have probably the best view on the installation. Honestly I'd turn my desk around if I didn't already have my office set up a certain way to accommodate the other functions that take place in there when needed. But anytime I want to see it, I just turn around in my chair.
