I have no doubt it is CYA from them, but the flip side is if something does go wrong, I wouldn't want to void any warranty. The trailer is designed for 'light off-road'.
The tires may be in the same place, but the 'connection point' would be 2 inches further out, so I would think that would adjust the leverage point.
I am pretty sure they are already alloy rims. Not 100%, but I am not an expert when it comes to rims. Heck I didn't even know offset was a thing...
Hiker (the manufacturer of the trailer) says that that much of an offset would be too much strain on the suspension. That was my first thought as well.
I have a 2025 Ranger Lariat with the 18 inch aluminum wheels.
I also have a small Hiker Trailer for camping.
Both have the same lug pattern.
The Hiker requires a 0 offset rim, and by my research, the Ranger comes with (from searching Google) a 53-57 mm offset.
My question is, is it possible...
I came here looking for the same thing. Mine is off as a percentage. IE: the lower the temp, the more accurate it is. Once it hits over 85 degrees though, the further off it is. Many times showing over 104 degrees when it is only 85-88 outside. Very frustrating.
I can be completely oblivious sometimes. I just got a 2025 Ranger Lariat, and I swear I didn't see the key hole until today. I am wondering if a cover fell off at some point, or if I really am that oblivious! Pic below for reference!
Hi, I just got my 6th gen Ranger with the Standard Tow Package. On my 2019 Ranger I installed a Redarc Controller, but I can't really find much online that makes me comfy installing one on the new Ranger, not to mention, I really don't want to drill a hole for the knob if I don't have to.
With...
Changed my mind. Cancelled the Amazon order for the mat and scheduled the rhino liner install tomorrow morning.
Thanks everyone for giving me the 'encouragement'!
Hi all, I just got a 2025 Ranger, and the sales people told me on a lease that I could add a spray in liner, and they are adamant that they are right. I checked with Ford Credit and they said no changes could be made to the vehicle. But if I am being honest, the person I spoke with sounded...
