what he said. Also, I do go off on my own quite a lot. I took my '19 Ranger on back 4x4 trails in Glacier National Park, and I did use most of three extra 5gal cans before I returned to civilization.

TrailRax has a modular roof rack for the Ford Ranger 24+ that I KNOW fits an XLT because I have it.
No drilling required. Mounts in existing mounting holes in the gutters.

I think these might conflict with my Ford tie down rails and/ roll up tonneau cover. Specifically the bolts on the front pillar where the bulkhead unit ties in, and possibly up under the bed sidewall caps if the side panels secure in there as it appears.
