  1. Sunpilot's Shadow Black Build

I finally found time to install my Icon rear shocks today. I don't know why I put it off, it only took half hour per side and was super easy. New bump stops were included along with new overload leaf tip pads. I'll be building some rock sliders next. Then a new front bumper design is...
  2. Sunpilot's Shadow Black Build

I ordered my Icon Stage 3 suspension back on Black Friday. The front parts arrived in early December and they are already installed. Today I finally received my rear reservoir shocks from Icon. I will be installing them this weekend. Finally!!!
  3. 2019 Overland Ranger Project

I can't speak for the new Ranger's electrical capacity yet, my truck only has 800 miles on it and I haven't delved into alternate batteries, etc. yet and I am just starting my build. I CAN tell you that my '07 4Runner, which I overland in, has matched dual AGM batteries and a smart solenoid to...

I don't care for the lower fascia color either. I was going to paint it but I'm building a bumper and it will get replaced anyway. BTW, I was wondering how you got five amber lights in your grille then I looked at your garage and saw the air deflector with the lights. Pretty cool.

That all black in front is great... love the look. I'm going to build a bumper soon, so it will replace the lower valance panel, and I'll paint the shid plate if I don't build a different one. I was thinking of doing the skid plate in red

I love the Shadow Black. I just finished my Raptor grille installation to go with my Icon lift and new wheels/tires. Truck has about 700 miles on it now.
  7. Sunpilot's Shadow Black Build

I finally finished my Raptor grille. I painted it three times before I was satisfied and it's still not perfect, but I can live with it. On to the next job... sliders and a front bumper.
  8. HoosierT's Lightning Blue Ranger Build

What type of paint are you using? Will the paint choice affect the sensor at all? I'm drawing up my front bumper plans now and want to include the sensors, which I want to paint black also.
  9. HoosierT's Lightning Blue Ranger Build

Or a deer on the highway, God forbid.
  10. HoosierT's Lightning Blue Ranger Build

Thanks. 11ga isn't that beefy, but we're not running tanks here LOL
  11. HoosierT's Lightning Blue Ranger Build

What gauge steel do you think the bumper shell is made of?
  12. Sunpilot's Shadow Black Build

New wheels and tires are on. Front suspension done. I'm waiting for Icon to ship the rear reservoir shocks, probably this week.
  13. Sunpilot's Shadow Black Build

I believe they are 2 1/2" I'll post a pic of them on the truck tomorrow. I like the way they came set. The front end is definitely higher with still a small rake. I will have to re-aim headlights for sure
  14. Project Msfitoy V3.0

That's my intention also. Keep it low enough to get into the garage. That way I can hoist the RTT on and off to my garage ceiling also.
  15. Sunpilot's Shadow Black Build

Part of my Stage 3 Icon suspension is here. The rear reservoir shocks won't be in until the 18th or so. I hope to have these bad boys on by tomorrow, and my new wheels/tires on by Thursday!
  16. The Weekend Warrior

I did my right (passenger) side yesterday. Going to football game today, so I'll do the left side tomorrow. I can say I had absolutely no problem removing and installing the long UCA bolt. Hopefully it will be the same on the driver's side. On the right side there is a heat shield behind the...

The new Delta Joints are redesigned ans sealed. Here is Icon's description: http://www.iconvehicledynamics.com/deltajoint/ The type of arm makes no difference, both the billet and tubular use the same new joint. I'm picking them yp in the morning, so I'll post some pics before the install.
  18. The Weekend Warrior

I checked with Icon. The new Delta Joints need no covers. I know my 4Runner has the UCAs with the older joints and they needed covered.
  19. Sunpilot's Shadow Black Build

Put my new decals on today. Doing suspension next week!
  20. The Weekend Warrior

Thanks for the reply. Sorry you had so much trouble. That's confusing because I see a lot of folks running the system with no problems. Maybe your truck was an exception. I will find out this week when my system gets here. I didn't see the covers advertised when I bought the kit. I'll have to...
