I was wondering if the REAL Ranger Raptor grille fit the US Ranger. I know the knockoff grilles fit. It was only curiosity to know if they were the same grille, or if the US vendors had to make a significant change to the fake grille. If I buy one, I’d just go with Stage 3 or one of the other...

Did this thread die? Does the international grille fit the domestic Ranger?

I guess I should have asked them that when I was on the phone with them a few weeks ago. However, many vendors sell high-end UCAs without covers and they aren’t even available to purchase. RPG and SVC are two that I’ve owned, and the dirt caused issues. Not only dirt, but I had moisture get in...

I installed my Icon joint covers last weekend - it's about a 5 min install. Make sure to clean the delta joint really well, you don't want to trap in any dirt or grime that's already in the joint. And yes, everyone complains that they should be included with the UCAs. Here's the link for the...

I gave up and took it to 4 Wheel Parts and had them do the install. They struggled but got it done. I think having it up on a lift gave them better leverage to get the bolt in. It’s only the driver’s side that has the issue. There’s a wire harness that gets in the way. You need to insert the...

Thanks for the info. I did try inserting the bolt as far in as possible prior to placing the UCA. But then I couldn’t get the UCA in place. I will try again this week and let you know.

on the driver side, the long bolt of the UCA must be installed from the back side (like it was installed on the OEM UCA. I was just barely able to remove it on the OEM, and now I cannot get it into the Icon UCA. The bushings are wider and the bolt can only go so far back before it hits a dead...

Hey Rock, I’ve got my crash bars cut and the intrusion beam relocation kit installed. I’m completely stuck now as I cannot get the driver side UCA bolt into the UCA bushings. There’s stuff in the way preventing the bolt from going back far enough so I can push it onto the UCA. I tried for an...

A whole bunch of guys at The Texas Raptor Run a few years ago, started to notice large and uneven gaps on each side of their tailgates. Some tailgates wouldn’t stay closed, randomly popping open. Or some had trouble closing the tailgate. The immediate temporary solution was to run a ratchet...

Thanks for the info! I installed my Icon shocks on my Raptor and nothing was straight forward. Drilling, grinding, and tapering were required front and rear. I installed several UCAs and tie-rods as well. I ran an RPG Stage 4+ setup (6 shocks, Fox bump stops, UCAs, Dual-Shock LCAs, tie-rods, RPG...

Sorry for all the questions, but it’s very helpful to learn from those that have been there already. Does the Icon Stage 1 come with lift blocks for the rear? In your pics it looks like a block is installed under the springs. Did you install the front coil overs yourself? On my Raptor I was...

Are you installing the Intrusion Beam relocation kit? My understanding is that the crash beams are important for safety. The relocation kit retains the safety functionality. Let us know how easy the install is. I read the instructions a few days ago.

If this is what it takes to do the Wildtrak roof bars, I’m never going this route...

Thanks Phil, I watched a video of an installer using something very similar to install a roof rack base on a Ranger. Here’s instructions for mounting one style of roof rack. https://www.kchilites.com/downloads/dl/file/id/374/product/1417/install_guide_kc_m_rack_onto_ford_ranger_supercrew.pdf

I was going to post a message explaining the reality of the NA Ranger and the holes not being in the roof, but you figured it out. I’m guessing you can use self-tapping sheet metal screws, but not sure. On my Raptor I mounted a 50” Rigid LED with roof mount. It took me 7 hours. A light bar needs...
