Sweet! I'm in a small parking garage too and I found the lowest hanging pipe to be right at 80 inches. When we put the Yakima ski rack on top, it scrapes, so I have to take it off every time I pull in the garage. But the stock height of the Ranger FX4 is 71.5 inches, if I recall correctly.
Good lookin flowy trails! Yeah I will get back out soon...accident happened in August. Surgery and plated collarbone. I started skiing again. Maybe a new bike is all I need to get back
Some good looking bikes in here! Makes me want to ride again...last time I was on a mountain bike I broke my collarbone lol. Have a Snugtop on our FX4, so I'll probably use the Kuat rack on my Jeep whenever it's time to shuttle with the Ranger.
Nice! Can't wait to take my Ranger up to Mammoth. It's handled really well on the icey mountain roads around LA getting to Mt High and Big Bear.
Here's an updated shot of mine with camper shell. I prefer the look of the pickup without the shell, but the camper shell has been so convenient and...
Thanks! Yeah the last pickup I had was a 99 F-150 with the Offroad package...think that eventually became the FX4 package in 2002. The bed was a great size, but we wanted something a little smaller for the city. That's interesting about the bikes...might look into that. Right now I have a Kuat...
Yep! :D That was the first weekend I had the truck and went up for the Fox US Open at Big Bear. Second pic is a couple weeks ago in Big Sur. We just got back from Yosemite and Mammoth and had the skis laid in diagonally, but would like a better solution for sure.
Had the FX4 for about 2 months now and couldn't be happier. Ski season is getting closer and I'm trying to figure out a good rack or cover combo where I can easily store my skis because the ~5 foot bed isn't going to work too well for that.
