Just curious, how'd you manage to spend $50 on mounting bolts? I just installed some stock boards and didn't know the bolts were wrapped into the bubble wrap they'd used, so I picked up a dozen at the dealership to go on, at ~$0.89/ea, so it was ~$12, and I wound up returning them because I had...
One of the things I miss the most about Michigan right now is Ludington. Growing up in Grand Rapids meant that I was only usually 1.5 hours from it and could go quite regularly. Now it's just way too far to go, though hoping to visit if we make it up in June!
I feel you! I've only gotten GLaDOS a little loose once unintentionally.
I had something similar happen to my 2015 Mustang which was super fun to recover from...
I don't plan on doing much to mine, but I say that having done very little aside from some LED upgrades, mudflaps, tailgate damper, hood mount LEDs, and stubby antenna.
I saw a nice front bumper bar that I'm really interested in though.
Ford sells them direct, you can also get it on Amazon I...
And my own screwup before I got rid of the mustang. Trying to get up to speed to get on the highway, merging here is always terrible because CA drivers are entitled, and as I get up to speed a puddle at the end of the on-ramp catches the back tires just right...Just about needed a new pair of pants.
OH, I've got some good ones! Let's start here.
This guy rear ended me and ran. It seems like such a small hit, but he broke some brackets that required replacing as well as the bumper cover. Still waiting for insurance to get money out of him so I get my deductible back (when it does, it would...
Thanks! I'm still pleased with how it turned out! Some wheel rash and if you pay close attention you can see where the bed between the wheel and the bumper on the passenger side takes a hit on the rocks (it's very low and hard to see normally), so it wasn't drama free but that's the price we...
Even everyone else with the locker and/or FX4 package had drama getting up, nothing as bad as mine, but still no walking right up.
Thanks! I like to think I have some skills, and for the first time really pushing this truck that went well. It's definitely a testament to the truck as well as the...
For most of my driving I'll never notice. It's nice to have but I'm good without it for now!
That hill is going to claim us all!! Haha!
It was a wonderful time, thanks for playing trailmaster!
Exactly! It would've been helpful, but hey, I made it work! I did get a bit of rash on the wheels (and I have a tiny bit of chunk out of a sidewall I need to get checked out/replaced), but I expect that I'll have some damage from going off-road.
This past weekend we had a local Ranger5G meetup here at Hungry Valley SVRA in Gorman, CA, which you can find a lot more information (and pictures/videos of) about here: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/feb-22nd-hungry-valley-off-road-meet-up.6028/page-10
One of the obstacles was "The...
Thanks! I'm not going with the Trigger, it's just too rich for my blood and I don't need all the fancy tech you have!
I just picked up a simple fused distribution box I'm going to wire in. I may have to do a bit of digging, but the marker lights would be a good one.
Can you share more info on how you wired up the Trigger? A relay for vehicle power would be good for this I think, but I'm curious what you did about this.
