Great to finally see we'll get more wheelbase options for the Ranger! I noticed that on the Car Expert site, the interior has a traditional shifter design instead of the goofy (in my opinion) e-shifter. Can anyone tell me what other markets are getting this design? Definitely hoping that it...
What I think would benefit GM's midsize trucks (at least the ZR2/AT4X variants) was if they offered the 3.6L TT V6 from the CT4-V Blackwing. It already produces 472 HP in that application, so even with a slight detune in power it would be more competitive against the Ranger Raptor than the 2.7L...
Wow, it looks amazing! Glad to know that the North American market is finally going to get the baby Raptor it deserves!
And it's also got me thinking: Since the Ranger Raptor is headed to the US, it will most likely take on competition such as the next-generation versions of the Chevrolet...
From what we've seen so far, this Raptor-fied Ranger is shaping up to be an absolute beast! Any word if it will get the new trick exhaust "loop" like on the F-150 Raptor?
I thought electronic door handles were legal. You see that sort of thing in Teslas (and basically every other electric passenger car or SUV) all the time. Are the rules different for trucks?
Regarding the larger screens, they look much better than what I originally imagined. I thought they would just slap the 15.5 screen on the dash to keep it minimalistic, but I'm glad that there is still physical buttons with the vertical display. The new Ranger looks very aggressive, and I sure...
I am super, super excited to see what this new Ranger will look like!!! Hopefully, the US-spec Ranger will be similar to what has been teased so far. I'm hoping we see the 2.7L EcoBoost available on the standard Ranger and the 3.0L EcoBoost for the Raptor.
Two more questions:
1- I'm a little...
I am really starting to like how this new Ranger is turning out in terms of design. Seems to be a nice blend of F-150 and Maverick cues, but at least that means it will look more cohesive with the rest of Ford's truck lineup and it won't look out of place.
I noticed that about 0.22 minutes into the video we get a glimpse of the Ranger's interior and a bit of the center touchscreen. From what I'm seeing, it doesn't seem to have that floating design that many other cars nowadays are using. Starting to look great and can't wait to see more!

Ford Authority has an article showcasing another 2023 Ranger prototype, this time with the peculiar vinyl camo wrapping. Judging by the exhaust routing, this is likely an emissions-testing prototype. Keen eyes will also notice that it will adopt the same antenna design as the F-150. FA has a...
No, I'm talking about the screen being positioned on top of everything else like how most other SUVs and crossovers do. If the screen is positioned like how you suggest, maybe I won't mind it. It just depends on how they position it is all.
