This doesn't seem surprising at all. It's not an all new model, it's a refresh and upgrade to an existing platform. It's a long way from beginning production and there are probably few examples stateside that would be worth displaying. The plant is still in full catch-up mode for Bronco, and is...
Yeah seems dubious that Farley and the Ford PR department are telling the rest of the world Job 1 will be May 2023 but letting the OP know that secretly they will be rolling off the line at the end of this summer.
On time will be May of 2023 for the regular Ranger, Raptor after that. Farley has repeated this numerous times. There will be no 2023 NA Rangers on the road by this labor day. Ford just released the anticipated schedule for Job 1 again - still May of 2023.
Farley already confirmed in multiple interviews and via his Twitter account that production of the 2023 models will start at MAP in spring of 2023. Order books may open late this summer or in the fall but trucks won't be on the road until around this time next year.

I'm sure it will be very Maverick-like inside but I would like heated steering wheel, console cover that adjusts so that it can be used as an armrest, and a 6 foot or even 5.5 foot bed on the CC would be my most wanted.
Not to mention a yard of topsoil weighs 1,400-2,000 pounds. So we can't get anywhere near having a full bed of topsoil in our trucks safely or without risking damaging something. My local yard won't load more than a half yard in any midsize or half-ton truck just for this reason. Mulch is a...
