There is nothing fun about Bronco colors. The only decent colors they have had were on limited run or high dollar trims. Everything else is pretty borin and available on every other Ford.
I'm not a huge fan of these new Tesla style screens. But they are much better than the one's that look like an iPad wedged into the top of the dash. Or worse like Kia does with the screen that stretches from the infotainment center all the way into the gauge cluster. One ginormous horizonal screen.
Thanks to the Maverick you are going to see many more mid-size and compact trucks on the market in a few years. The compact truck is a new (well revised) market that everyone is going to try to get a piece of.
My reasoning too. Tried and true platform. Most of the bugs have long been worked out. And yes there will be zero discounts and most likely ADM at many dealers. And I do think initial quality issues.
For curiosity sake I stopped by a Chevy dealer to price out a new Colorado. I qualify for...
I don't think think there will be many mechanical issues early on. I'd be more worried about fit and finish issues and electrical bugs. Interior is all new. Body is all new. Much of the electrical aspects will be all new. Many things won't surface until they are real world tested by real owners...
Three months with my Bronco and I have had several issues already. On top of getting a cracked windshield. That is a first in my 36 years of driving. Including two Jeeps. Beginning to think this thing has bad juju. Doubt I'd ever take a chance on a new model or first year major overhaul again.
-60/40 rear folding seat that lays flat and has under seat storage
-Cold weather package with heated seats, heated steering wheel and remote start
-Take a page from the Bronco and offer something like the Sasquatch package. Factory 35s with a slight lift and upgraded suspension and lockers...
There would have been some sort of announcement. I just did a search and couldn't find so much as a snippet of a leak.
OP needs to post a link to whatever they read.
The Bronco and Ranger are currently built on the same line. There isn't a new line being built for the 6th gen Ranger.
And I can see constraint issues being worse with the 6th gen Ranger since it is being built at different locations and NA will pretty much be the last to get started. If...
I'm a Bronco order holder so "optimistic" is not a word in my current vocabulary. LOL
And true production has started in other parts of the world. But do we know when they started retooling for the new model?? And I believe it was already stated that there have been major constraint issues...
Because everything Ford gets pushed out from the original date. Remember the 6th gen was supposed to be a 2023. Now it's a 2024. They are still having major supply issues with the Bronco. Which is built on the same line. You can expect the same supply issues and constraints with the 6th gen...
The 2023 order guide has already been released. This again is for the 2023 which is still a 5th gen. The 6th gen, which will be a 2024, hasn't even been officially revealed and announced for North America yet. I wouldn't expect order guides to be released until a few months before production...
Lol I am fully aware of the difference between the Ranger and Maverick. I'm not stupid. I said "all I see is a bigger Maverick". That is based on the looks. Nothing more. If you don't see it then you are in denial.
I posted this on the Gen5 forum. But it fits in this thread.
I was all about waiting for a Gen6. But the more I looked at it all I see is a bigger Maverick. On top of that a fully digital instrument cluster is a big turn-off for me. I love tech. But in my vehicles I much prefer having analog...
