Anyone remember in the early 90's, the plexiglass or acrylic "jet fighter canopy" you could put on a Ranger ? Just cut most of the roof off with the template and install it.

I'll definitely get both sway bars. I love a truck that can handle curves. Now, for a lowering kit.....oh, the agony :facepalm:

@BurgerBlaster Do you know or could you find out it Hellwig is going to make a sway bar for the front ? I know it comes with one, but I remember someone mentioned it was tubing instead of a solid bar. Thanks !!!

I put a catch can on my 04 Lightning. I checked the intake when I put it on (it had about 3000 miles on it) and it was coated in oil, so I cleaned it up good. I checked it after a few weeks and it and the inside of had about a 1/4 cup of "stuff" in it and the intake was just slightly oily...

I'll definitely be plasti-dipping the wheels or getting new ones...just not very many simple black wheel designs out there yet with the correct width, bolt pattern, and backspacing. A simple 6-spoke would be nice.

I grew up around Waterloo and lived in Omaha (Ralston) for about a year working at Fruehauf (now LBT) as a weldor. I have family in Waverly and partied at the OP a few times and spent many hours and a lot of miles cruising University Ave in W'loo/Cedar Falls in the mid to late 80's.

We took a charter from Gulfport--9-Ball Gulf Coast fishing. Had a great time and caught a bunch of fish--black tip sharks, sailfin catfish, lots of redfish and jack crevalle. Going again in Apr-May timeframe....hope my new Ranger is here by then.

Just ordered mine !!! Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 in Lightning Blue, 501A pkg, tow pkg, e-locking diff, spray-in bed liner, and they "threw-in" a hard folding bed cover to seal the deal :like:. Now, the wait begins......:facepalm:
