I want a velocity blue 2.7 so bad I can’t see straight. I hope they don’t can that color before the 2.7 can be ordered (and built). They have gotten rid of it for Atlas Blue on just about every other model so far.
Toyota knows their prices are ridiculous and are trying to justify it to the masses, especially before they release the hybrid prices (and make a bunch of people pass out lol).
I’m brand agnostic so I don’t have a dog in the fight, but it’s kinda comical how much info Toyota omitted about the Ranger in that video. They made it seem like they had more options in every category but they mostly skipped a bunch of things on the Ranger that were at parity or better. Pretty...
No. Sorry that was poor way to frame that. GM is sane and puts the autotrac in all trims. They don’t lock it behind the premium trims like Ford and Toyota.
On the Colorado, the WT and LT only has the single speed (2hi, 4hi, 4auto) auotrac. The trailboss up has the two speed that adds 4low. For...
I really hope Ford puts the auto4 transfer case in the 2.7. The only thing similar that Toyota offers is the fulltime 4wd in the Tacoma Limited. That was my fallback, but they bundle it with the iForce Max powertrain and adaptive suspension. Given the base engine Limited is $52k and the iForce...
I know the Platinum trim ROW trucks have ventilated seats. Also, Ford marketing material for ROW models lists matrix led when discussing headlights and specifically calls out features like dynamic glare adjustment and bending beam. All the US materials and order guides just say “projector led”...
Rear console vents, driver/rear grab handles, pop out cup holders in dash, ventillated seats, matrix led headlamps, 4a auto transfer case in anything other than Raptor.
The non-raptor rangers would look so much better to me if they had that Everest bumper instead of that goofy H embossed one that looks like it’s wearing a knuckle bandage in the middle.
I’m specifically holding out for the 2.7l and 4A (4wd Auto). If they don’t put 4A in at least the the 2.7l Lariat, I’m out. Will get something else or wait until enough info is out to determine feasibility of a tcase swap and forscan reprogram like you can do on the F150. Lots of options coming...
Yep. In this video he was told (presumably by the Ford marketing team that’s there with him in the background) that the 10r80 was dropped across the whole line for the 10r60 (for the US gasoline engines at least, as the diesels get the 10r80 in the rest of the world).
Hopefully that changes or was a misprint. I see Ford updated the document on their site on the 31st and removed the 2.7L info along with the references to the tremor name and corrected several of the misprinted measurements.

I wish someone at Ford would just...
Ford out here playing 4D chess, making sure every product launch is a disaster so their cars are perpetually out of reach for most people thus driving up demand and keeping prices inflated. lol 🥴
They want to keep the demand propped up. Control the supply, control the demand. They already stated they don't want to go back to pre-pandemic and supply chain fiasco times. They want to under produce to drive everyone to ordering at msrp instead of having to do incentives to move off lots...
I think that link (Chevy) just loads my build from earlier which was a blue z71 with safety, tech, and convenience packages II and III. Don’t need tow package on either as I just haul stuff. Came out to $46.2 for me. Comes with ventilated seats to boot. But yeah when the 2.7 eco comes out and...
$50k for a Lariat Fx4. Sheesh. When they release the 2.7l, that’ll mean around $52k if the upgrade cost the same as the Bronco (and that’s assuming they don’t charge extra for 4a, if they offer it, like they do in the Bronco too). Too rich for my blood.
If they come out with a Tremor package...
