It finally happened!!!! I never thought I'd see the day, but it finally arrived! Too bad I picked it up on a wet day, it was already dirty by the time I got it home.
A few thoughts:
Cactus Gray is THE color to have. It looks so good in person!
I love it SO much better in person than I...
I thought it would be nice to have one place to answer everyone's questions about the ordering process. This should clean up the forum a bit and avoid repeat questions. I don't have any association with Ford, or its dealers, so everything I've learned has been from these forums. Please feel...
The new camper from Roverking was just announced today. It's small, but a pretty cool option for a camper. It only weighs 550 lbs. so payload shouldn't be a problem, even for the RRaptor.

This doesn't look like great news.

Aren't the US engines the same as the Australian ones?
I was comparing the Ranger Raptor to the GMC Canyon AT4X last night and it looks like the Raptor is nearly 8 inches wider. That's huge! That's almost the difference between a mid-size and full-size. I REALLY don't want it to drive like a full-size.
Does the new Ranger Raptor feel a lot bigger...
This was a pretty good owner review I just came across. The most interesting part for me was learning you can tie the accessory lighting into the matrix headlights so they shut off automatically with approaching traffic.
Does anyone know if the onboard scales from the F150 have made it into the new Ranger? I haven't heard anything about it so I'm doubtful but it would be a cool feature.
I just came across this video from this guy that bought a RRaptor. Some of it can be ignored because he's comparing it with a camper van. Still, starting at 8:12 he talks about how his battery died and if he's telling the truth, it seems a bit alarming that opening and closing the door on the...
I was looking at the bed size from Ford's spec sheets. We've had conversations on here about the different size of the bed and tonneau covers not fitting etc. It looks like the new Ranger bed is about an inch wider and an inch and a half shorter but the cargo capacities are nearly the same...
It's official, you could buy a VelociRaptor for the same price dealers are marking up a stock Ranger Raptor for.

I had the keypad on my 5G Ranger and I'm planning on getting it on my 6G. Does anyone know if there are any security mechanisms around it?
The times I want to use it most are when hiking in the middle of nowhere and I don't want to have the huge key on me. I feel nervous doing that though, as...
This time in Cactus Gray. I'm with everyone else in wanting to get rid of that ugly plastic looking H on the front grill. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

I swear I had been following a thread all weekend about someone getting to ride in the new RRaptor but now I can't find it anywhere. Did Ford request it be taken down or something?
This will probably be obvious with my question, but I know nothing about how the mfg industry works. Hoping someone with insight could fill me in...
I'm wondering why a company like Ford that has extremely popular trucks they can't make fast enough would choose to add another popular truck to...
The worst thing about my Ranger is the fuel tank size. Why did Ford think it was ok to go with a 17 gallon tank when all the competition uses 21 gallons? Does anyone know if they resolved this for the 6th gen Rangers? I think a truck should be able to go over 400 miles on a tank and the current...
