Felony speeding is not technically a categorized stand-alone offense in Texas, but the act of driving 25+ mph over the limit can, and will, lead to additional charges. Reckless driving is always a good one to tack on to a 25 over. And heaven forbid DPS "thinks" you were trying to evade.
I've had it installed in my Ranger for several weeks now. Its Ford's answer to Tesla's karaoke app to allow people to do karaoke while they are recharging; supposed to be for the Lightning and electric not-a-Mustang. So why the heck is it in my Ranger, and how do I get rid of it.
I always used Mobil 1 in our 1996 EB Bronco 351. Ran all around the country and up and down the ALCAN several times. At 180,000 miles our mechanic opened the engine to replace some leaking gaskets and was absolutely amazed how clean the interior was, valves guides showed no wear, cylinder...
Mine just got it. Ford's rollouts are just slow. I got several earlier rollouts, then got this one. just make sure you have auto-update enable in your truck.
Ford will most likely end up expanding the recall. This recall is the exactly same as 25SB5 (NHTSA 25V721) to address a population of vehicles produced from 2020 to 2022 with front seat pivot bolts that may be loose. It's a production line issue versus being a supplier quality issue. My...
Well, another recall, oh joy. But at least Ford had the decency to push the 26C10 update to my Ranger today as well... So, no more issues with trailers running amok, now I just have to worry about headliners spontaneously erupting into flames, whilst my seats are ejecting...
Hmm, isn't Texas still "Your vehicle may also qualify as a lemon if t has been out of service for a cumulative total of 30 days or more during the first 2 years or 24,000 miles." I'd think they'd be in a bit of a hurry if you are still in that 2 yr / 24000 mi window.
Fix Our Recalls Daily.... Seriously, enough is enough. Let's get back to "Quality is #1". I don't think in 50 years of driving Fords I've ever had this many recall in a vehicle that isn't even a year old....
Talked with Ford Customer Service today, they said the 26C10 update is being pushed out in stages and it "should be pushed out to all Rangers (and other cheap vehicles :crying:) by the end of May. However, if I need to tow with my vehicle right away then I should contact my local Ford...
I got this update on Friday, but still haven't gotten the 26C10 update. My wife's F 150 got the 26C10 update back in March, well over a month ago. Probably 'cause she got the expensive truck so Ford likes her better. :crying:
Just had the new recall A-pillar recall pop up on Carfax, but not on FordPass. The 26C10 towing recall still shows up on both for the Ranger, but oddly has disappeared from both FordPass and Carfax for the F 150?
With my 2025 2.7L I have noticed a marked difference between premium and regular gas. Now to quantify this a bit, the Ranger is totally stock and I've only been running Costco and Chevron gas through it, using Mobil 1 oil, and doing nearly all driving in town. Surprisingly, I'm achieving about...
Wow, and since I in the process or ordering a 2026 Raptor R in Ruby Red, your demographics data, and your statement, is just flat not correct, and pretty assumptious.
