I'm sure there is a bug in the software. Sometimes the ambient lighting (on) setting survives many restarts. Other times, the system loses the setting after the first restart and it has to be turned on again.
I wonder how Ford determines which features are available in specific markets. My Raptor in South Africa has a USB port behind the rearview mirror, despite dashcams not being that common here. At least not nearly as popular as in the States.
We also get the grab handles the guys in the States...
The Ford Pass app (i.e. the app used for remote start; turning on zone lighting etc). The app also provides info (and warnings) on upcoming services, recalls, and other things. I'm sorry, but I can't remember where I got the info that the update resolves the issues with the LED Matrix lights...
The Ford app warns that there are two recalls on my 2023 (South African, Thailand-built) Ranger Raptor relating to the adaptive lights:

My South African Raptor (Built in Thailand) has Auto Hold as standard equipment. (But then again, all available options are standard on the SA models, apart from the trailer brake controller and intelligent adaptive cruise control - only "normal" ACC.)
