As i understood they are sending another ECU. So i’m not sure if they can tune EU version or just sending ECU meant for non EU markets. Or maybe they can but not within distance.

I don’t know about other maps, but there i guess there are more options. Usually i use sport or dynamic on normal driving mode. The engine is more responsive on lower revs, on stock it was really disappointing. Of course i got used to it and it looks like it was all the time like that, but then...

hi. i had no issues at all. All work perfectly. there is an app and you can choose three option- sport, dynamic and efficient.

I have seen couple companies in Australia that doing ECU remapping already. I don’t think that non EU version is more protected by ford vs non European version. Anyway I’m using at the moment DTE chip and car is much more lively compared to stock.

It’s not gonna happen any time soon i guess.

But this box is not for 292ps detuned version. Is it?

Is it so? ? Still this is ruled by the ecu, turbos are the same.. Yes, it’s due to ECU not the turbo’s itself.

0, 0,5 bar boost is pathetic on restricted version. Fiat 500 has 1.2 bar boost.

It is the same engine, same displacement, injection, turbochargers. So it should reach at least stock numbers. 400hp. Australian version with chip has 450hp. So actually i would expect the same or at least 400hp minimum.

We where is another missing 48 Australian horses out of 400? ?

I like built quality. Mainly driving on Normal mode on tarmac. But suspension and isolation of the cabin are really good. The tires on highway at 130km/h does not make any vibration. Thinking on installing after market KN air filter, but it will be available after few months. Also waiting some...
