Well, I took your word for it and ordered a GMC Canyon Denali. Confirmed that it is flat towable! I’ve got a 7/17 build date so hopefully I’ll have it sometime in August. Thanks!

I placed my order the day order banks opened up and received an email from Ford confirming the order and stating I’d have an update in 45 days. It hasn’t been 45 days yet, so no news to share.

My salesman just called me back after checking with Ford on the flat-tow issue. He hasn’t found anything that says the 24’s won’t be capable of flat-towing. I really hope we don’t learn otherwise in the weeks ahead, but for now I’m sticking with my order and pressing forward.

This makes a lot of sense. I had some Yakima racks with T-slots that looked a lot like the roof shown in the video. There are some members from overseas here with Raptors already. Could always ask one of them to take a look and send photos..

You’re comparing to standard ranger specs, OP quoted Raptor specs. The Raptor model has substantially less towing capacity.

Here's a comparison of the 5' box dimensions, taken from both year's BBLB. According to the 2024 Technical specifications, towing capacity remains at 7,500 lbs for the other Ranger models. Too bad to see the Raptor has quite a bit less!.
