Not too sure where you're going with that, you paid ADM- awesome, whatever makes you happy. I don't agree with dealerships abusing scarcity by charging ADM and decided to find one for MSRP. That's what it boils down to. The fact you're claiming I'm insulting ADM buyers when I haven't even called...
Please point where have I insulted people who pay ADM? Have I called them any names? The fact dealerships are scalping customers with ADMs I am not hiding. And if you want to take time and place to dislike random strangers over not wanting to pay ADMs so be it, can't say I'll be losing a day of...
Good for you, but what are you trying to prove exactly? That you don't mind to pay ADM? Or that you have different views on the same matter? I really can't be bothered about that other than say I'm glad you got your Raptor. See you out on the trails :sunglasses:
In my scenario waiting works out in my favor only because I still have another vehicle I'm leasing so I'm fine with that, no rush at all. 6% increase is still less however than $10k or more some dealers are demanding. Finance rates are dependent on many factors- months, downpayment, going...
2 things-
Where have I given anyone permission or not on how to spend their money? I've said if it makes them happy so be it, but I'm not the person to pay over MSRP. Moreover, I have never claimed that others are allowed to pay anything, see below-
Clearly you missed the point where I said that...
It takes time and patience, but I've been able to find a little bit after looking a dealer who will sell at MSRP. There are honest dealers in the sea of crooks scalping people for money. Hint if you're looking for MSRP pricing try all the smaller dealers in the middle of nowhere, they are more...
Personally not worth it. There's a reason msrp is on the sticker- it's the worth of the car given by the manufacturer. $4k is a lot of money you could use for other things, that actually benefit you in some way and is not used to pay dealer owners kids college tuition (best case scenario lol)...
The Raptor is not just the engine either. It's also a Raptor specific suspension, wider track, exterior details. There's so much more that goes in to it aside from the 3.0TT.
Truth is no car is worth a cent over msrp. But until people stop giving into that culture and throwing money away for nothing at the dealer nothing will change. As long as they get people to pay those ridiculous fees they'll keep doing it.
Whether someone buys their truck to take it offroad or not is irrelevant to what people want to buy. Also it's not a valid case study since it excluded the Raptor therefore majority of people buying the Ranger were always going to be people who arent looking for an offroad specific truck. For a...
Make sure to reach out to smaller dealers in the area, like ones in the middle of nowhere. And never agree to pay a cent of ADM. All that money is going straight to the dealer owners pocket. You might as well burn that cash or give it to him as a gift for no reason lol.
I'm curious to hear what are you basing your percentages on? What's your sample size to this calculation? Just because you don't want an offroad truck doesn't mean that no one else does. You're free to go buy a Lariat or XLT with the chrome package or the basic XL. Hence why they offer different...
Oh yeah not cheap at all lol. Just wait for tunes and you'll be able to get 500hp out of yours too. Plus you can get rest of stuff for way less than 24k lol. It just won't have a Hennessey badge but I'm more than fine with that.
RR will easily beat the F150 Raptor even with that transmission. F150 Raptor has 450HP, RR is at 405HP. Won't be hard the get 45 more hp out if it. At the same HP output RR will be beating the F150 due to lighter weight. And even then a tune will likely give you closer to 500 than 450. Hennessey...
My guess is there will be a Tremor Ranger in lieu of the Wildtrack to fill in the gap between XLT/Lariat and Raptor. So it's coming no doubt, just under a different name.
Exactly. With a car like a sedan it's different because it's in the floor anyways under the rear passengers feet. Trucks though it's taking up that vital space. I just don't know why they'd rather risk losing certain customers over not providing an ICE engine woth more interior space. Fords done...
