My plan A has been in production since Jan 22. I suspect all of us with orders that have been in limbo since January will never see them delivered. My guess is they have been scrapped.

I agree - I'm going from a 2004 F-150 to a new Ranger and the only thing I'm having trouble getting used to is the 5' bed. It's six inches smaller, but it looks puny compared to my old bed. At least they made the 2024 wide enough to fit a piece of plywood/dry wall.

I took delivery of my plan B Ranger a month ago. I love it! It is identical to my original order except it's missing the bed step. I still check the tracking of my original order and have serious doubts it will ever ship. It's been in production since January.

I had a similar experience turning left up a steep hill in my neighborhood. It was only a brief 1 second or so loss of power. It was disconcerting.

You are indeed lucky to get the $1000 rebate since dealer stock orders don't qualify. If they promised it, make sure to hold them to it.

I also gave up and took an identical stock order. Be sure to get a discount off MSRP. Many dealerships offer steep discounts right now, around 2-4K off MSRP depending on the options.

I share your frustration and I think we all need to let Ford know how badly they have f'ed up here. Is there an official channel for voicing these complaints? I want to share my experience with them as well.

This sentence raises red flags for me. Scammers are notorious for using fake cashier checks. The checks are very real looking and sometimes your bank will even deposit the ammount, but they will not clear and the funds will be reversed from your account a few days later. Just a heads up.

I concur. I have a plan B in the works also. Ford has treated their most loyal customers like crap by making them wait the longest with no explanation or apology. My original order (May 26, 2023) is still in purgatory at MAP with a family of possums likely squatting in the engine...

I got some more information from my dealer today. It looks like my truck did indeed ship by convoy, not rail, to Portland. It took five days to get there, and on the fourth day, it passed within a few hundred feet of my dealership (which is right next to the interstate) and continued driving...

Thanks for the info. This makes sense. When Ford Chat told me that it shipped by Convoy from the factory I was skeptical. What's more likely is they were misinterpreting the data on their screen.
