Well it’s been fun guys. Made the hard choice to walk away from the Ranger Raptor today. Too much uncertainty on the wait for parts, future reliability, and support from Ford. Hope everyone’s journey turns out better than mine
actually all those holes are factory. Mine has the same 8 holes. I thought it was a crappy dealer tech job too but only two of the 8 actually line up with our US license plate holes. Interesting tid bit though, I noticed there are two slots below the plate area just like in the front which leads...
Mine has the distortion as well but I’d wager 90% of vehicles on the road today have it too it just hasn’t been noticed. Gotta remember that glass is susceptible to stretching while it’s still warm which I’d bet is what happened to mine and OPs and all the other vehicles out there. Hell my...
Holy hell those billet upper control arms are shockingly beautiful. I don’t think I’ve seen something that gorgeous except on something like Porsche re-imagined by Singer
Yeah I reached out to them too….crickets….
hopefully they have something in the works. All it would require is redesigning the bracket I would think. The rest of the engine and associated lines is exactly the same
search on YouTube for Audi matrix LEDs. Tons of videos that show the difference. In a nut shell, there are multiple LED diodes that turn off based on what the camera see to keep high beams on but also not blind oncoming drivers
Federal Motor Vehicle Standard section 208.
…”a short-duration audio-visual seat belt warning for the driver’s seat belt on passenger cars, most trucks and MPVs with a GVWR [gross vehicle weight rating] of 4,536 kg (10,000 lb) or less, and buses with a GVWR of 3,855 kg (8,500 lb) or less."

I’ll answer the question again and give it it’s own spacing so it’s clear to everyone why this comparison was set up the way it was.
I haven’t driven any other trucks than what I’m giving my opinions on in this post. I can’t give an opinion if I haven’t sat in/ driven/ experienced a vehicle...
Interior Impressions:
Tacoma TRDOR:
Overall the Tacoma interior is pretty well executed. It has cool “baskets” on the doors and center console that give it that Molle panel vibe. The digital display was easy to read and the buttons were logically laid out save for the steering wheel. As I...
lol tell you what. Get behind the wheel of a Tacoma and after you’re done driving it let me know what you think of the non intuitive HVAC buttons, inability to turn off driving aids without being at a stop, and the terrible UI that defaults to you setting up a user profile to access a majority...
i can only tell you my experiences with the vehicles I’ve actually driven which includes the TRDOR. Is the TRD Pro better feeling off-road and on? Most likely, but spoiler alert, the tech inside it absolutely SUCKS. More to follow
Hey everyone, I’m sure those of you who have not gotten your Rangers are agonizing over the review threads to get an idea of the overall experience of owning a Raptor. Some of you may be on the fence knowing that your order won’t be built until late this year, maybe next.
Bet that competition...
Hey folks. After owning my Ranger Raptor a few days and answering some questions here and there I thought having a thread with all the cool stuff you’ve found so far would be fun.
I’ll start. I haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere but recently found it on my drive home at night. If you have the...
