IDK, it feels like the quarter-mile times are lack luster between all of them TBH.
2.3L = 14.8 seconds at 93 mph
2.7L = 14.5 seconds at 94 mph
RR = 14.1 seconds at 97 mph
Passing power is the only advantage really.
@greaserman, Yes, there is black metal bracket that goes under wires in front of the cam cover. Here's a link to the instructions. Microsoft Word - IS M-6766-B23 051923 (ford.com) and this is the bracket:
The metal tab points up and the catch can slips onto it.
Apologies for this being a...
FWIW, my other car has steering responsive headlights (LED Projectors). The inside projector will turn with the steering wheel. So, you are turning right, the right headlight will swivel right lighing up the road, and then return to neutral/forward when you straighten out. THEY ARE AMAZING...
I have an XLT and the LED reflector headlights are good for being reflectors. They are not as good as LED projectors but are better than halogen reflectors. There are hot spots in the middle of the road throw light far infront of the car, but they do a decent good job illuminating the sides and...
But I will add that there are many videos on this on YouTube for Broncos, 5th Gen Rangers, and other models like Mustangs and F-150s. I tried to stick to Bronco reviews as they were the closest platform and had the same engine. They all said the same thing. Not much in summer and a fair amount...
@greaserman Not yet because it's only been a few days and less than 100 miles. I don't expect much during the warm months, but I do expect a lot during the MN winter months.
@greaserman, I don't have any pics before it was it was installed. I like how the PCV goes into the bottom and the air has to go up through the filter inside the catch can, and then out to intake. The bracket that comes with the catch can mounts to existing studs on the cam cover. The AOS...
I have it installed. I bought it from CJ Pony as it was cheaper than directly from Ford. It took 30-45 minutes. I spent most of the fighting with the single use orange clips on the old hose.
It looks nice and OEM. I cannot comment on effectiveness as it's been on for less than 100 miles...
I second that. I would trade my current 2024 Ranger in for a super cab as soon as it's out. To me, the extra bed length would be super helpful @Ford Motor Company, please make this happen, there's already a lot of buyers for it!

Now that's an idea!!! I may have to order the folding versions or the middle seat headrest.

I too am interested in them but don't want to pay that much for a few pieces of metal. I'm looking at and trying to figure out how to mount L-Tract or Strut Channel to the bed as a DIY approach.
My first tank turned around a 21.5 MPG with 100% city driving. About 350 miles. Truck had 44 miles on it at pickup, so I put on ~305 of the miles. I did drive it very gently for break-in.
No idea what the dealer put in it for it's first fill or when they did it but it's safe to assuming...
FYI, I bought the Truxedo version of the seal on Real Truck. I was able to apply it to bottom (where the bed floor meets the tailgate) not up the sides due to clearance. Simply doing the bottom help immensely but it sill not a perfect seal.
Would I recommend it? eh, maybe but only if you're...
Thanks for sharing. By looking at it, it's a good test for tire longevity but may not be the best for handling due to sidewall stiffness or other factors.
