Thanks for the suggestion. This wasn't a concern with the miles to empty, it was the fuel gauge itself which now shows the correct amount after turning off/on again.

I wish since I've been averaging 14.5mpg lol. I wondered if someone drilled a hole in my tank. Glad that wasn't the case and it reset after turning off/on.

Anyone else had their fuel gauge display incorrectly? I filled up yesterday and had only gone a few miles. When I started the truck today the gauge showed a 1/4 tank instead of full. Turning the truck off and on fixed it.

The FP tune helped mine but still get some random occurrences. A friend went from FP to Goosetuned and no more hard shifts. Definitely seems like it is in the programming.

Looks like it was trying to switch to Rock Crawl not Baja. It should have been able to switch to Baja at that speed. The Rock Crawl was trying to engage 4L.

OP, I share your dislike of the manufacturer's tramp stamp. Would get rid of the FORD emblem too if it wasn't so costly as you mention.

I've had this happen multiple times. Both stock and with ProCal tune. No FORScan mods.

Seems normal from my experience. You can lock the diff in 2H also so if you only changed by selecting 2H and not changing drive modes from sand back to normal, seems like the proper engineering choice to me.
