    its a 1500 dollar option on the F150 over the standard V6 so i suspect it will be similar for the ranger. if so... its definitely worth it. 375 ft lbs torque + 3.73 gears = properly quick.

    maybe but that's a 3.5 which is a very different engine so it might be apples to oranges. also, 125K miles and having some buildup isn't bad.
