  1. Load Box Reinforcement Brackets... What the Heck, Ford Accessories?

A lot of the responses to this post contain a variation of "Most people don't use toppers" or "Most people don't need to worry about offroad capability because they rarely go offroad". let's address these 1 at a time. 1. I would go as far as to say that *many* if not *most* truck owners that...
  2. Load Box Reinforcement Brackets... What the Heck, Ford Accessories?

The point I was trying to make is that we seem to have really lowered the bar on our expectations from Ford. If an organization accepts an order for parts and/or labor and charges (pending) your card for said order, any reasonable consumer would expect that order to be fulfilled AS AGREED UPON...
  3. Load Box Reinforcement Brackets... What the Heck, Ford Accessories?

I would like to start by stating that I am nothing but happy with my 2024 Ranger Lariat. That being said, every single interaction with Ford, as a company, has been a total letdown. 11 months from Order to delivery. Ok, sure. There were supply chain issues, and then there was the Union strike...
  4. CarPlay <> iPhone connection issue

There are 2 issues. 1 that is more rare where carplay doesn't connect to the phone at all. That only seems to be resolved by turning the truck off and back on again. The other, more common issue is where it connects to carplay, but there's no audio. I've found that this is usually an issue with...
  5. VERY BAD GAS MILAGE!!!!

I have the 4x4 lariat (not FX4 though and almost always in 4x2 mode). I'm *usually drive in eco mode, but not full grandpa. At just shy of 5000 miles, I'm pretty consistently getting around 20-21 mpg city and around 23-24 highway (with normal 87 octane). Mode really makes a significant...
  6. How many miles of your Ranger 2024!?

4855 miles, picked it up early April. I've very much enjoyed every mile so far. >:)
  7. Adaptive Cruise and lane centering

It took me a while to figure out the option to turn Lane Keeping to alert only (light vibrate) and that made all the difference for me. I absolutely love the adaptive cruise control, but I was ready to say goodbye to it forever if it meant I was going to have to constantly fights the steering...
  8. Retractable Tonneau canister sizes

I have the RetraxONE XR. the cover extends 13" in the fully open and locked position and there is approximately 11.5" of clearance underneath the cannister. it weighs 89 lbs.
  9. Tonneau cover availability

I didn't overthink it. I just went to Menards and grabbed something that fit: https://www.menards.com/main/hardware/weather-stripping/19-32w-x-5-16h-x-10-self-adhesive-rubber-auto-marine-weather-strip-black/52021/p-1459185067252-c-3624.htm?exp=false (I am not an expert and make no claims that...
  10. Tonneau cover availability

I picked up the RetraxONE XR Tonneau Cover from RealTruck.com. Shipped and delivered in about 5 business days. It did have model specific instructions, and brackets for the 2024 Ranger. The clamps that I received didn't match those in the instructions, but they still worked. The only problem I...
  11. My Ranger Raptor listed on the Dealers Website

My Dealer had 6 2024 rangers listed, (including mine), all listed as "in transit". Pretty sure it's automated at a corporate level. As soon as mine was delivered and signed for, it was removed from the dealership pages. I hope that helps to set your mind at ease. >:)
  12. 2024 Ranger First Reviews Are Here! 👈🏽

I can see my productivity is going to be low today. Thanks for sharing. :D
  13. Why did you choose Midsize

Short version of the story: Upper Peninsula of Michigan, driving home late at night from a National Guard Weekend. No Moon. Overcast. No street lights or city lights for miles. New blacktop on the road. Following a line of other guardsman heading home. Movement ahead. A car Further down the line...
  14. Why did you choose Midsize

I'm just working my way up the ladder, incrementally. I started with an Escort. it got eaten by a bear. I picked up a very used 98 Nissan Frontier 4x4 with the insurance money and really liked it. it had a HUGE solid steel brush guard that made it very bear resistant. Unfortunately, it was more...
  15. J Brace for 2024 US Ranger

I contacted my local dealer with this exact question so they could hopefully either verify that it's part of the US build or add it to the list of things to be added once they take delivery. I haven't heard back yet.
  16. Is anyone second guessing the options they picked?

I added the side step after my GF reminded me that not everyone who would be riding in the truck is as tall as I am. Fair. >:)
  17. 45 day notice canned email

I received my first 45 day canned email 84 days ago.
  18. 6th Gen Ranger - US Market Easter Eggs?

That was cool. Thanks for Sharing. >:)
  19. Not the email I wanted, but I got an email

Better than mine. I'm at 51 days since my last "we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days" email. :)
