Doesn't seem like the ranger is all that much lighter than the f150. I'm really wondering if the 2.3 will even have better numbers than the 2.7. It's not like the 2.3 isn't more than enough. The only concern I have with the 2.7 is the new belt driven oil pump. Does the 2.3 have this? It doesn't...
