Nice! I've always been a fan of white trucks, especially in the desert heat.
Dealer asked me if I would be interested in a Raptor yesterday. I told him no, for a few reasons.
I'm an old guy, slowing down, and don't hit the desert near as much as I used to.
I didn't want to take the hit on...
Me too. Wife and I just talked about it. We decided to wait on the tan one to arrive. Other than the black-out package they are both equipped the same.
We got a Grainger warranty on my wife's Jeep Cherokee just before the powertrain warranty expired. She loved her car and wanted to keep it.
Great folks and easy to work with. Can recommend.
How did your 5 tire rotation work out?
When I did that with my 5G Ranger the TPMS sensor at the spare tire location confused the system. I was getting Check TPMS warning lights until I removed it.
Local small town dealer has one on the lot with a $10K "market adjustment". Nice truck but not worth over $70K to me.
It's been sitting there a couple of weeks.
I've been researching the 6G Ranger for a possible purchase. Trading in a Gladiator Mojave. What I would like to see.
Push button start.
Better instrument panel. The 8" is pitiful compared to the Colorado and Gladiator.
60/40 rear seat.
Larger fuel tank for those of us that actually live and...
I saw that a couple of days ago. Interesting.
I had a 23 Colorado ZR2 with the 2.7L engine for a couple of years. It towed my 3,250 lb Rpod travel trailer just fine but I kept speeds to 60-65 mph.
I don't own a 2.7L Ranger (yet) so I can't make a comparison at this time.
I'm driving a...
Not really surprising for a turbo direct injection engine.
Personally I wouldn't go any more than 5,000 miles between changes. I would suggest a used oil analysis to check fuel dilution.
No kidding. When I was in the market for a new Ranger they were unobtanium.
I ended up with a late 23 Colorado ZR2, which truthfully was a pretty nice truck.
I had a 98 F-150 I bought new with the 4.6L V8. I always changed the oil at around 5K intervals with M1 5w-30. At over 100K miles I started using SuperTech Synthetic oil. At close to 250K miles I changed the timing chain and guides. I was pleased how the engine looked under the cam covers...
Very nice truck. Enjoy. I'm currently driving a 23 Rattler. Great truck but I've found I just don't particularly like driving it. A PITA around town, parking garages, etc. It's just bigger than what I need.
When I can order one, I'll be trading it for a 2.7L Ranger.
