In very wet conditions I've found the KO3s to be terrible. I've never felt less confident driving in heavy rain. They do awesome in the snow and are otherwise pretty decent all around. I do also prefer my tire pressure down to 35 or 36ish.

I've been considering them, but the cost did give me pause. Luckily buying the truck gave me almost enough good boy points to redeem for one.

We paid MSRP. Our dealer did try putting in the $1000 rebate, fingers crossed we get a surprise check in the mail. Our grand total was around $61k with the spray-in liner + taxes, registration/plate fees, etc.

The sun is pretty directly on it in the picture. I went outside to do a quick sanity check... I'd say that those plastic pieces are not quite as dark as the trim to begin with, and the material is more reflective. The brighter / more direct the light, the more pronounced the difference is.

You should qualify for the $1000 rebate. But see what the bottom line is on the stock order. If the price works out close enough for you to stomach, might as well just go for it. How often were you gonna use the bed step, anyway?

I think the giant ipad in the dash looks ridiculous, but that's just the way new vehicles are going. I wish a supercab + 6ft bed option was available for the non-raptors. Get rid of the stupid antenna please, somehow.
