Please review the photo for the size of the screws/washers that are on my tailgate. I really don't remember if they came with the pad but I think they did. Are the existing ones you have smaller than mine in the photo? If so, the larger ones came with the pad. Hope this helps.

I know this thread is about Raptors, but it is possible to get pretty good MPGs with a Ranger that is 4X2 and if you drive the speed limits. Here is the dash view for over 5,000 miles and it shows an average of 23.7 MPG. This is about 1/3 city miles and 2/3 highway in the mid west. High...
Here is my 23.7 MPG average for 5,467 miles. This is for my 4 X 2 Lariat driving the speed limit with about 1/3 city and 2/3 highway miles in the midwest. It even includes about 700 miles towing a light trailer at 63 MPH. I am very pleased with the MPG for this truck.
I had the same water leak issue. I just took a small screwdriver and gently lifted along the middle edge of the bed caps and they came out easily without damage. I ended up putting them back in with a bead of clear silicon where the cap sits and then a small bead of silicon caulk around the...
Just remember that with any tonneau that doesn't fully cover the bed rails that water will enter thru the bed caps. You need to use silicon or some other type of sealer around each bed cap to keep the water out.
Hope this helps.
I have a Lomax tonneau cover that works great but it doesn't fully cover the bed rails. I noticed leaks from the bed rail caps and the only fix I could think of was to seal around the caps with clear silicon. I think this would be the same with any tonneau cover that doesn't fully cover the...
Local dealer said they will come to my driveway and do the software update on Monday. They also mentioned they offer oil changes at your home by sucking out the old oil with their equipment. New at home repair service - interesting.
My local shop recommended the Lomax. They said they have had the least amount of trouble compared to other brands. No need to drill any holes and it fits nice and flat. It is made of aluminum panels which I prefer over composites.
The page numbers are shown in the electronic version of the manual. I am not aware of a paper copy being available.

Just finished a trip towing a 5 X 8 U-Haul box trailer for about 700 miles. Averaged 22 MPG while towing. This is a small tailer with a light load (Probably 1,600 lbs total) but it towed very well with my 4X2 Lariat.
4X2 Lariat - just got 25.7 average MPG for a 600 mile trip. Cruise set on 72 mph for most of the trip with some hills and some headwinds. Truck now has 2,100 miles so it might even get better as it gets past the "break in" mileage. As always speed and winds have a significant impact on MPG.
